Scotty Tyce and Power Take Off with the Cattlemen

The Big Little Band from Barneveld, WI

Scotty Tyce and Power Take Off (PTO) pull together an eclectic mix of country, rock and blues music. The positive, let’s have fun vibe comes from familiar, well-known Madison area musicians who started working together in 2019. Since then, the group has been joined by lead singer 

Scotty Tyce’s son, Ayden on drums, following in his dad’s Converse sneaks 

at just 16 years old. 

In addition to their original songs, PTO’s show is packed with a nostalgic, multi-genre mix of songs: rocked-up Ronnie Milsap, Don Williams, and 

John Denver, along with Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and John Mellencamp. Their original music is creative and catchy. 

Their show is a high energy sing-a-long! 

In 2022, PTO released a four-song, digital collection titled, Keep Truckin’, that can be found nationally on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, etc. For every download of the lead single, Keep Truckin’, the band donates proceeds to support the educational opportunities for kids participating in Wisconsin 

4-H. The band just finished their first, full length studio album

   Beale Street’s latest success story, 2020 Maple Blues Awards B.B. King International Artist of the Year, 5-time Blues Blast Music Award Nominee and International Blues Challenge Runner-up is Ghost Town Blues Band. 

Not your grandpa’s blues band, their live show has been captivating audiences in the U.S., Canada and Europe with their "second-line horn entrance," cigar box guitars and electric push brooms to Allman Brothers style jams and even a hip-hop trombone player. The band's stage show and energy is unparalleled and has been called the best new live blues 

show in the world. 

Horns, harmonies and homegrown instruments combined with an energetic and roots rich festival set makes Ghost Town Blues Band one of the “must see live bands on the festival scene today.” Both Andrew McNeill behind the drums and Matt Karner on the bass guitar are a punishing rhythm section behind multi-instrumentalist/frontman Matt Isbell with raunchy cigar box guitar licks and raspy "Dr. John-like, whiskey and gravel-soaked vocals." With the addition of Trombonist Suavo Jones, Cedric Taylor on B3 and Taylor Orr on lead guitar, the grooves go from fresh to funky as the band gains more notoriety in the blues festival and jam circuit.

No stranger to the Shullsburg Music in the Park program, Classical Blast is back and continuing to blur musical lines,  melding well known classical music into classic rock hits or rocking music by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart and composers from other centuries, sometimes adding original lyrics or introducing symphonic elements into their own music. 

From Bach to classic rock to metal and beyond, you’ll find our approach to music a refreshing change.

It’s the past, present and future brought together in perfect harmony! Back by popular demand from 2024, Moments Notice plays their unique brand of original blues, funk and soul. Moments Notice is a group of eclectic musicians known internationally for recording and touring with many well-known bands.   With George Moye, “Dr. Funk” on bass, Jason Medieros on guitar, Pierre Lewis on keyboard, Marcus Bohn on drums and Allen Kirk on guitar and vocals – Moment’s Notice comes together to bring you a guaranteed great time with spontaneous grooves and musical fun. The guys play a variety of shows around the Midwest and the band can be found every Monday at Shaw’s Bar in Minneapolis and Tuesday at 

The Blues Saloon in St. Paul where they host the Twin Cities 

longest-running blues jams.
